Would you like to work at the highest level of legal practice while contributing to issues that matter from both a societal and strategic perspective? Are you looking for a role in which you work on complex matters for businesses and public-sector organisations while helping to build a high-quality practice within a small and ambitious law firm?
For our Privacy, AI and Digitalisation practice, we are looking for a mid-level lawyer who has strong legal expertise, thinks entrepreneurially and feels comfortable working in a small, fast-moving and entrepreneurial organisation. Within this practice group, you will work closely with one direct colleague. This means short communication lines, a high level of substantive involvement and plenty of opportunity to influence matters, clients and the further development of the practice.
We are looking for someone who is not only highly capable in legal work, but who also enjoys helping to develop the firm, contributing ideas about the direction of the practice group and deepening its legal expertise.
As a mid-level Privacy, AI and Digitalisation lawyer, you will work on complex matters for clients in both the private and public sectors. You will advise on substantive and strategic legal questions relating to privacy, AI, data and digitalisation, and contribute to the quality, progress and development of cases.
We work in a compact team, so collaboration is an important part of this role. At the same time, there is also scope to handle certain matters, or parts of them, independently. We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys working with others while also taking responsibility for all or part of a case.
In addition to the substantive legal work, we are looking for someone who wants to actively contribute to the continued development of the practice. This may include further developing client relationships, identifying opportunities in the market, contributing ideas about the direction of the practice group and strengthening the firm’s visibility and substantive position.
New Paradigm is a small and ambitious law firm with a clear mission: to help organisations become future-proof in the areas of climate & sustainability and privacy & digitalisation. We believe that the law can be a powerful driver of change, and we are building the law firm of the future, for the future. This mission is also reflected in our organisation: we are not-for-profit, steward-owned, operate with a capped remuneration structure and place great value on employee participation.
As a first step, we would like to receive your CV and cover letter. Following an initial selection, there will be an assessment, followed by two rounds of interviews. During these interviews, we want to get to know each other well, both professionally and personally. We will consider not only your experience and legal expertise, but also how you collaborate, take initiative and fit within the dynamics of a small firm and a growing practice group. If both parties feel it is a good match, an offer will follow.
