Nadim Abdalla

Paralegal - Expert in climate legislation and litigation.

Nadim advises on climate legislation, including the CSRD, the CSDD and the EUDR. Nadim received his master’s degree in International Business Law, with a specialization in Climate Change and Corporations, from VU University Amsterdam. In doing so, he researched the social duty of care of banks to combat climate change.

During his bachelor’s degree in Law at Maastricht University, he developed a strong interest in the legal aspects of climate change, conducting legal-philosophical research on the personal liability of directors of companies with significant carbon emissions.

During his bachelor, Nadim did an internship at Paulussen Advocaten, where he was involved in several legal disputes, including Milieudefensie’s appeal case against Shell. He was also president of JFV Ouranos, the law school association of the Faculty of Law.

In addition to his work at New Paradigm, Nadim is secretary of the Law for Climate Foundation, a platform that uses law to make society more sustainable.
